Wachel Way and the big Fiasco

I am having to share the computer with my daughter and her friend, so not much bloggin' fer me today.

I took a prayer walk to Blockbuster with Wachel Way and she picked out a Marykateanashlee "moobie" called "When in Rome". When we got back home Carly and her friend asked us what we got and I said:

"A Marykateandashlee fiasco." "Do you know what a "fiasco" is?"

Carly's friend said, "No, but my dad does."

I have no response to that.

My hubby has been out of town and just got in last night. I had told him that you said that Joe vs. the Volcano has some spiritual lessons in it and he BOUGHT the movie and brought it with him. He said he watched it and still thinks it's a lame movie, but that it does indeed have some spiritual lessons that can be gleaned from it. My son started watching it last night. Good grief! Can I have no peace at Christmastime?

Poor Jamie!! Did you watch some of it too? Or are you on a boycott? I am sure Our Joe would love to discuss the nuances of the movie with your hubby. :o)

Wow, I am humbled that you are even thinking of giving it another look. Please tell me what size t-shirts your family wears so I can send out my JvtV shirts!
I hope to delve into the deepness/deepmess that is JvtV in the new year. Thanks for having fun with us!

I like that idea Susie. Let's start in January and we'll take turns picking the movie. We might get bigger than Oprah's book club!

I have very little say about Marykateandashley since I am the father of two beautiful spoiled girls. Although I do prefer their younger days/movies.

Well Uncle Joe! I surely have found the perfect Christmas gift for YOU!
And youzzz aint gonna get it till the day after Christmas...lol Well maybe before just depends on whether or not you'll sit still long enough to get it to ya ! HAHAHA!
Da Big Kahouna says he'll be talking to ya tomorrow so maybe you'll get it then...it's not up to me now is it, in reality that is.
PS don't laugh at my spelling Waaaaaaaaaa....sniff...sniff.

i can't wait to catch uncle joe on a spelling error, i'm going to exploit it for everything it's worth. i just found a spelling error in my blog description. how embarrassing!!!!

Susie, you need to know that Joe is a freakishly good speller. He is like Rainman. When he hears a new word he spells it(sometimes audibly) and is usually right. Having a mother who is an English teacher has some great benefits! "Yea 10 minutes to Wapner."

Let's see how long it takes to catch him. I bet it is a llllooooonnnngggg time, unless he throws you a bone.

Susie, I'm only picking on Aunt J because on one of her recent posts she bragged, yes bragged, about what a good speller she was, and then proceeded to spell words wrong. Most of it is because she is a very fast typist and usually in a hurry. I'm just having a little fun, at her expense of course.

I think it's an Italian car.

Good answer Curious Servant!

Lousy car, but good on gas mileage. :)

I did happen to see a few minutes of the movie, and my old feelings were once again reconfirmed.

Jamie Dawn! A few minutes does not a viewing make. In January I fully expect you to become the biggest JvtV fan on your block. I am going to teach you how to watch it with my eyes. You will need my glasses for this and it will probably help to blur out the parts you really hate. You can pay me back by picking a movie that I have an obvious distaste for.
