Sr. Trombone Line

Here are four of my best friends from high school. .
The four of us on the right were the senior trombone players in band in 1978. We met in Jr. High and stayed tight until we graduated.
They are from right to left, Uncle Joe, Kip Bloss, Jeff Tomlinson and Terry Bass.
I haven't seen Kip since around 1983. I've been in contact with Jeff and Terry a lot since our high school days.
The handsome fellow on the left is Jan Rigney, the lone trumpet player we allowed in this sacred photo. (the only one who came to the reunion Fri. night)
Jan dated ALL the prettiest girls in school. haha. Regular guys never had a chance. He brought his "newborn surprise" to the reunion. Just a few months old.
Good work Jan!!!!

I'll help you make that bigger for a kiss. :o)

That picture was one of the happiest moments of the meet and greet! Reunited and it feels so good! haha

I think my mouth is still a little sore from smiling so much.

You know what they say about trombone players lips right?

It's true. ;o)

I've got a trombone player! I hope that it means as much to her one day as it does you. She is sort of petite and didn't think she could handle the trombone. But her grandmother (we call her Jo-Jo) picked one up at a yard sale for 20 bucks. She had no choice. BUT she has excelled at it!

High School reunion...hmmm, I wonder how boring mine would be. Oh, yes, I was homeschooled.

I'm laughing because you have yet another Jenn/Jenny/Jennifer/Jen blogger. Are you collecting us?

My Bee Life Is A Prayerful Groovy Cartoon. Enough said.

"Jan, the lone trumpet player".

He sounds like a maverick...and he got all the girls...tee hee...

Amusing.

Jan is still scoring!!! That's sounds like a manly thing to say.

I'm glad you got to catch up with your fellow trombonists and the lone trumpet player.

What's a "newborn surprise?" My mom always called my baby sister a "surprise."

I'll take that as a compliment. Even though we were only in 6th grade and sitting on the porch for a year doesn't exactly qualify as dating. Oh, but wait...we did walk to the Ritz theater to see "Ben." Never mind. We really dated.

And wow, AJ is STILL talking about your lips!
