High School Reunion

My brain is still processing reunion weekend. I would say that without a doubt the most intense time of my life.

Here are a words to describe this event:

Reconciliation: I was the disgruntled classmate. I put the dis in gruntled and now I'm able to take it out. There is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

Disco: Is not so bad. Fun to dance to. Fun to watch people's eyes light up as they remember a song. Fun to watch them hobble off the dance floor with tired knees, wheezing.

Disco Ball: Evil. Causes wicked colors to permeate the dance floor and walls causing flashbacks and very bad dance moves. I thought it was a Pinata and took a few swings with a very large pole. Security soon intervened.

Bald: Good. Helps light shadowy places for people with bad eyesight.

My head is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto the dance floor.

Boob jobs: Aplenty. Also apparent. Also appearing. But I'm not going to say appealing, 'cause that would just be wrong. Approachable? maybe.

Closets: BIG and EMPTY and dancing to disco, all night long. Not necessarily clean closets, just BIG and EMPTY. With brightly colored wardrobes.

Grandmas: Very wise. Not so grandma-ish as once imagined. Except while being entranced by evil disco ball. Plenty of blackmail opportunity pics.

That's all for now. I feel a huge nap coming to take me away.

I will chime in on the intenseness of the whole event. The MOST intense 4 days of my life. I am glad they only come around every 5 to 10 years. I don't think my emotions could handle it!I had waaay more fun at this reunion than I did at mine!

I was a watcher of all this and I could (and still can) hardly contain my emotions. It was just a joy to see you smiling and having a good time. :o)

Empty closets is an understatement. There was more team switching that I have ever seen in my young life. haha

Uncle/Aunt Jo -

Like you, I recently attended my high school reunion. I had a blast, but I do have one regret: Not dancing when asked to dance....

Glad you had a good time! I don't think that I will ever do a reunion. Sometimes I just feel lucky to have made it out, you know?

Laughing out loud at some of your bon mots.
"I thought it was a Pinata and took a few swings with a very large pole. Security soon intervened."

Love your deadpan humour...

I cracked up over the boob job comments.
I'm sure there were plenty of boobage being served up and propped up and displayed.
I'll just keep my old ones, thank you very much.

Happy July 4th weekend.
God bless America!!!!!!!

sorta creepy to think of all those guys in the locker room that are now on the other team.
