THE GAME IS ON.

Before I get to the details of THE GAME. I need to say a few things about my loverly wife.
You should see her do the Cha Cha! Holy Chacholy! She almost set the place on fire tonight waving her arms all up and down and lookin' at me real sexy like. Dancin' around like me and her was the onliest ones in the place! Dang!

In other news. I believe everybody knows what SPAM is. My beautiful wifey hates this stuff. Spam and celery. Those are two things she hates. I can't say that I blame her about the Spam. Spam, though is mostly misunderstood. Spam has been treated like a bad stepchild for far too long. My stepdad loves the stuff and has been known to keep a two years supply in his basement in case the nuclear war promised us in the sixties comes to fruition. We'll be chewin' on Spam and drinking cheese sauce. Tostitos brand I think it is down there in the basement.

Tonight at dinner there was a nicely slicely arrangement of spam to go along with enchilada soup, cornbread, salad, chicken soup, cheese sauce, and whatever else I can't remember. AJ can't help but show her disgust whenever SPAM is around and of course that just tickles my pester bone. I'm thinkin' about ways to make her eat it and not know she is eating it and the more I tell her how good it is the more contorted her face gets in even looking at the stuff. Then I have an epiphany.................

I bet her that within a week I can get her, without her knowing it, to eat spam and like it. Yes, you've heard it here first. Within one week, little miss sexy dancer will have eaten spam and will have liked it!

Wish me well.................................
Oh, who am I kidding? You're all going to be on her side aren't you?

BRING. IT. ON. BIG. BOY.

You will not succeed. I can spot SPAM a mile away and it will NOT cross my lips.

Disgusting dog-food like meat. Bleh.

See....I have already won half the battle because this means you will be COOKING!! Ha Ha Ha

Yea, I saw you watching me at dance class and I saw that sexy little bootie shakin you were doing too......

I think the gross thing about SPAM is that it is shaped like the inside of the can.

Dazzler you keep your yap shut. :o)
If you were there you would be doing the same thing and you know it girl!! That red head of yours would be flying all around making your husband weak with love.

SPAM? I'm not sure Uncle Joe - if she's a smeller you may not get it past her.

My husband is real big on wanting me to try different foods and I finally put my foot down and told him I wasn't trying another thing again until he tries potato salad.

You know Anne, I'm on your side here. He should at least try it.
What's wrong with potato salad?

Saur♥Kraut said...

Actually I like Spam. But there's no way to disguise it. You can limit it by saucing it up or mixing it w/ stuff, though...

GIve up Joe....you will not win. My smeller is in high gear right now. ;o)

Yea Mr. Hubbadoo, what is wrong with potatoe salad? Anne how do you make it? With celery I bet...then I don't blame him for not eating it. I hate picking celery out of stuff....a little pile of celery on the side of my plate is not attractive.

UJ, while you're at it, review the Honeymooners "dog food" episode. You may succeed in getting her to try some dog food before she'll try SPAM...

your biggest error was alerting her to the challenge. when will you learn. be sneakier spy boy.

now. the reason she does not like celery is because certain "people" who we will not name, stand behind her while she is trying to blog, and crunch it in her ear.

so what will happen when you get her to try the spam. will you do a little dance? do a little jig, get down tonight? thats a song, i think

SqueezieBdeezie, you should never doubt by abilities. My M.O. is to tell you that I'm coming at you and then patiently wait for the one moment when you are at your weakest and then "Bam!!!!!!

No brag, just fact. Ask Roy...

I think if she really loves you she will eat spam.

I don't make potato salad. Don't now why. Maybe it's because The Hubbs dislikes it so. I tend to disagree with him - I can eat any kind of potato salad. He has a thing about "cold" food. I prefer potato salad freshly made while it's still warm but he still turns up his nose. He doesn't like cold tuna fish or chicken salad.

I'm with you on this one, Uncle Joe, but you will have to get REALLY creative.
I think since she knows it's coming, you may not get away with it, but I'm rooting for you!!

I bet you two look so great on the dance floor.
Shake it up, baby!

you might get Jeremy to give you his fried spam and pork and beans recipe.

Suzy-Q said...

Jory-san you butt outta this. He has to do it on his own without help. I doubt he could ever disguise it well enough to trick me. :o)

Hey Unc,
I saw your idea for a McDonald's commercial over at jenn's blog. What a hoot! Got any more?

I like Spam. Probably because I grew up with it when meat was hard to come by.

I can hardly wait to see how this whole thing comes out.

Suzy-Q said...

I concede.....I ate spam and I liked it. I was totally off guard and did not expect the grossest meat in the world to be in a flippin cupcake/muffin!! He did it with two days to spare. Good thing he's cute or I would have spit it all back out on his face. (that and the muffin was actually pretty good....very unique) I left a link to the recipe on my blog if you are interested.

Good Job Joe!! Thanks for playing, now get outta my kitchen with that stuff! :o)
