National Superhero Day.....

Superheroes are often misunderstood. As hard as we try to always do the right thing oftentimes our motives are questioned. So what if I only want to come out at night...That's my business. That's when all the bad guys are out doing their bad guy stuff.
It's mostly adults who don't understand us. The kids love us. And the ladies too. Okay, the kids and the ladies love us. The husbands are probably just jealous that they didn't think of a cool outfit to wear at night. Something that strikes fear in the heart of bad dudes.
Why not take some time out of your busy day and let the superhero in your life know that you love him or her.
We're saving the world for you.

When I was in elementary or middle school (can't remember exactly) our class grouped off and did drama skits. I was with two other boys and we did a skit where batman, robin and batgirl got ran over by a steamroller. We had to rename ourselves to Flatman, Flatgirl and Ribbon. Hee hee.

I'm very thankful for all you nighttime superheroes out there in your cute uniforms, guarding our safety... but I'm VERY thankful that my own superhero is right where he should be at night: keeping my feet warm. I'd freeze to death without PR.

Superheroes have it tough. They have to be super ALL THE TIME. I just don't know how guys like you do it. Good thing you have a good woman to come home to, after a long night of hero stuff.

strangely enough and i'm mad now i didn't get a picture. there's a karaoke lounge in town (yeah i sound like an okie) with one room that has a bat-symbol projected onto the wall. i will find it again. it looked like a swell place to spend a birthday.

Is that an invitation??? HMMMM???
